The team from River City Doors recently installed a new garage door after some muppet crashed into it, buckling it beyond repair. River City Doors promptly band aided it for me so it would at least lock until the new door was ready to be installed. Right from their admin staff to their trades people have been a pleasure to deal with prompt, professional and reliable. I have used River City Doors twice in the past 12 months, the first time to help install a Smart Garage Door opener (retrofit on an old garage door) so I can use Alexa to open my garage door when I can't find the remote. The second time, a garage door was jamming when being operated, they adjusted the railings and sorted it. My experience both times has been first class. Professional staff answer the phone, no wait times, within 3 minutes the booking on the phone was done, I was informed of progress along the way, and both times the tech arrived and completed the job within the time frame advised when making the booking. All in all, no complaints, and you should definitely give them a call.

We got trapped in our garage when the motor failed on us and the lady that answered when i called was very helpful to help us get out of the garage at least, then was able to get a tech same day to check out the issue. New motor was quoted for and within a week, all is fixed with new motor installed. very happy customer 🙂

I recently had a shonky company (unknown to me at the time) install an automatic garage door opener. The garage is a "cave" type garage i.e. there is no other entrance to the garage other than through the garage door itself. After the garage door opener was installed I asked what would happen if the mechanism failed - how would I get into the garage or how would I get my car out. They then installed an emergency release mechanism - again done very poorly. It was clear that they had never installed such a mechanism before. Fortunately I was able to get them to remove both the automatic door opener and the emergency release mechanism and get a full refund. I then, by a recommendation, contacted River City Doors. Jonty, their technician, reviewed the situation initially and gave me a cheaper quote (than the shonky installers) to install a new automatic garage opener and emergency release mechanism. He returned to do the job which was done very professionally and with a solid knowledge and understanding of Tilt garage doors and how to do the work. The result is a perfectly functioning automatic garage door opener and peace of mind should, in the unlikely event, this fail at some time in the future. The administration staff that I communicated with were also very polite, pleasant and efficient. I highly recommend this company.

I had Michael from River City Doors do my quote for a driveway gate motor replacement and he, in his professional and friendly manner, explained my options and the process involved. On installation day I was happy to see he was my installer and he did a great job. He took extra care with the install to make sure it was both neat and structurally well done, and also patiently talked me through everything. Michael is a credit to his company.

Exceptional !! - used once to service my Garage door and were great then. A14 yro motor playing up so new one required. The visit to assess and advise, the 3 quote options sent so promptly was impressive. I took Joni's advice and went for the remote/phone controllable opener with best motor ( ATA ) and it is so so quite and the software app works a dream ! - std controllers provided also - could not be happier as 3 bus days from order placed to installed. 10/10

Our driveway gate couldn't stop at it's limit position so I submitted online inquiry on their website after reading so many good comments in google. They responsed quickly and came to fixed our gate few days later (today). This company is trustworthy and their service is professional and in very resonable price. Trying to be a weekend warrior I had everything done and ready to put back together until I didn’t , WIZZ BANG SPLAT ! My roller door was on the floor & of course it was Sunday. Gave River City Doors a call and in no time at all, Tim was at my service. Looking at the mess I’d created, Tim had a bit of a head scratch and told me what needed to happen to get the garage secure but not functional. After we got it back into position Tim wasn’t happy so he went above and beyond and to my surprise got the door fully functional and better than before. My only criticism of Tim is that there isn’t two of him. Top bloke, great company !
